IWD Inspirational Female Founders Spotlight: Louise Hynes

I’m Lou, Mummy to three children, a puppy and married to my soul mate Pete. My journey began when I realised after the birth of our daughter, who is now 5 that I was trapped in a career that no longer lit me up. That feeling of being stuck there for 12 months or else having to pay back a years maternity pay created a panicky feeling in me that I just KNEW I had to find a way out as soon as I could! To cut a long story short I spent the next 5 years frantically opening a number of different doors as an escape route, none of which worked out, felt right or I could see myself doing long term. I did a lot of work on myself, my values and by figuring out who I was beneath the surface of Mummy, wife, daughter, friend, career woman I realised that becoming a Life Coach was my soul’s calling. It also dawned on me that instead of running AWAY from something, it is so much more impactful to know what you want to run TOWARDS!

So my coaching business helps professional women rediscover their passion and purpose, and take action (including identifying, acknowledging and releasing their limiting beliefs) towards fulfilling their potential and a life that lights them up. I have found fulfilment in my own work and now help other amazing women to do the same for themselves. I am also helping other new female business owners and entrepreneurs find their own unique voice that will allow them to find their perfect clients with ease, grow their businesses and all while having fun and being true to themselves!

I’m passionate about women finding their own unique voice and using it for greater good. All too often we hold ourselves back for fear of being judged, criticised, failing and all those other stories we carry around with us! My one top tip would be to listen to your heart, tune in to what it’s telling you and to go with it – don’t overthink it! Profit follows passion so if you know you are truly following your purpose in life, trust that everything else will fall into place. Our female intuition is so powerful and yet we fall into a highly masculine way of working, never listening to our own inner wisdom. The journey is an exhilarating rollercoaster but you won’t regret it!

My 5 Top Tips for entrepreneurial success are:

1. Remember to stop and listen to your own intuition, it tells you all you need to know

2. Create authentic relationships with people

3. Offer your knowledge, experience and expertise with no expectation of anything in return

4. Identify your own unique voice, YOU are your business, use it to create your brand

5. Don’t forget to have fun!
