Can you tell us a little about your background and the company?
BodyBio was founded over 30 years ago by my grandfather, Ed Kane, so has been a family business for three generations. We focus on cellular health, offering supplements designed to support the trillions of cells in our bodies. Our approach combines scientific research with a deep commitment to improving the lives of our customers.
How did the idea come to you for the company?
The idea for BodyBio was born from my grandfather’s personal health challenges. He embarked on a journey to understand his health at a cellular level, which was not being addressed by traditional medicine. His discoveries laid the foundation for BodyBio, changing the course of my life, the medical industry, and how people approach their health goals and longevity.
How did you achieve awareness?
We’ve achieved awareness through education on how critical cellular health is. Disease occurs within the cells, so in looking at today’s health challenges, we focus very specifically on the niche of cellular wellness. To educate, we have partnerships with leading medical doctors and functional medicine specialists who have been using our products for many years and understand the crucial role our products have in cellular wellness.
How have you been able to gain funding and grow?
Our growth has been propelled by a combination of product excellence, strategic partnerships, and effective marketing. We’ve seen a 350% business growth year-over-year, driven by increased consumer demand and research.
What are the key successes?
Manufacturing, educating and expanding our distribution internationally are among our key successes. We started as a physician-only brand, so our professional-grade supplements are trusted. Today, our practitioner network of over 25,000 healthcare providers endorsing our products underscores our impact.
What were/are the challenges and how have you overcome these?
The main challenges include navigating growth from an operational perspective since we manufacture many of our supplements. This combined with a fast-growing and highly competitive market. We’ve overcome these by staying true to our scientific foundation and focusing on the quality and efficacy of our products.
What are your plans now/for the future?
Looking forward, we aim to expand our research, develop new products, and continue to educate on the importance of cellular health. We’re also committed to making our supplements accessible to a broader audience.

My journey underscores the importance of resilience, vision, and the impact one can make by solving real-world problems. Starting a business is challenging, but with passion and perseverance, you can change lives.

Who are the 5 people who inspire you the most and why?
My grandfather, Ed Kane, for his pioneering spirit; My maternal grandfather, Gino Hollander who was an incredible artist and helped me develop my eye for branding and design. Functional/Integrative/Precision medicine doctors who are constantly innovating to look deeper into their patients health challenges; and researchers like Bruce Lipton, Dr. Robert Naviaux for their pioneering research looking into what drives disease.
