Claire Winter is the host of the Cracking Content podcast and a trainer and coach. She is passionate about helping coaches and creative entrepreneurs to amplify their expertise through storytelling, content and PR so that they can get more sales and make a bigger impact through 1:1 coaching, digital courses and her membership. She currently writes for all 41 Families magazines that cover the UK, which reach 9 million parents a year. She has been a content creator for twenty years and helped thousands of business owners get more sales with their content marketing. She is a trained NCTJ journalist and started her career at ITN in radio and television. She also runs a Facebook community called Cracking Content where she shares writing, content and PR TIPs.
What would you love to share with other women to encourage them to start a business?
I sold my first business and launched my coaching and training business four years ago; I love to support female coaches and entrepreneurs to shine their and light and share their story through content marketing. Starting your own business is a real rollercoaster journey but I would encourage women to feel the fear and do it anyway.
What are your 5 top tips for entrepreneurial success?
1. Learn to fail well, everyone business owner makes mistakes when they first start out, learn from them and move on.
2 Get a coach, every coach should have a coach.
3. Look after yourself, burn out is really common problem with entrepreneurs working harder is not a badge of honour
4. Move every day, I walk rain or shine, I truly believe you can walk your way to happiness.
5. Surround yourself with positive people, hang out with people who are inspiring and understand entrepreneurial life.
