Claudia Tinnirello is an international bestselling author and the CEO and founder of Sophisticated Cloud Ltd. She is a professional SquareSpace website builder, UX expert and enthusiastic public speaker. Originally from Sicily, Italy, Claudia arrived in England in 2005 with very little knowledge of the English language, no accommodation and only the prospect of a job. Through hard work and determination Claudia got her first job in a call centre and put herself through night school to learn English. Always learning she progressed through the corporate ranks to become a digital marketing specialist. Claudia has always seen the potential in situations and not viewed limits as a setback.
After 4 redundancies Claudia knew it was time to fulfil her entrepreneurial dreams. Sophisticated Cloud Ltd was born in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, at a time of economic and social anxiety. Working with small businesses across the globe who want a beautiful, one-of-a-kind responsive website that is SEO optimised and compatible on all devices. It is her mission to help a million people to be heard and seen by having a robust online presence by 2025.
In less than a year Sophisticated Cloud Ltd has clients around the world and has just opened an office in New York. In November last year Claudia’s book collaboration ‘Unchain Your Authentic Soul’ reached the number 1 position on Amazon. It shares her real life experience of fear and doubts to inspire women to take chances, be brave and start to truly love the life you live. Claudia has recently become president of her local Toastmasters International Club, an example of not letting being an outsider become a barrier to stop you aiming high.
What would you love to share to encourage women to start their own business?
Don’t let anyone put a label on you. You can overcome obstacles and climb over barriers to achieve anything you set your mind to. Always try to see the potential in situations and not view limits as a setback. Even setbacks provide learnings for you to develop and grow as a person and as a business.

Who are the 5 women who inspire you the most?
Rebecca Cross: my business coach and mentor. Rebecca comes from a difficult childhood background, yet she has proved that you can become a successful woman and entrepreneur if you truly believe in yourself.
Michelle Obama: she’s a beautiful, talented and caring woman who has inspired millions of women across the world to become the best they can be without the fear of being judged for their races.
Kate Middleton: she’s such a lovely lady that had to compromise a lot in her life to be with the people she loves, yet she is successfully leading her role in the Royal Family.
J. K. Rowling: from single mother living on benefits to multi-millionaire author, she is the living proof that if you true believe in yourself and you persist in your dreams, these will come true.
Oprah Winfrey: she is probably one of the most compassionate, caring and charitable people I know, and what inspires me the most is her very humble and difficult childhood experience which didn’t stop Oprah become the amazing woman she’s today.
