What would you love to share to encourage other women to start their own business?
Unfortunately there still remain stereotypes that women simply don’t seem able to shift. Although we say that women can have it all – the job, the family – that’s not a mindset that everyone has. And it often results in women not having the confidence to pursue their dreams/being discouraged.
I encourage women to embrace their ambitions and be who they want to be. If your own story is not inspiring you it is time to rewrite it. Believe that nothing is too good for you – the only person that needs to believe in the vision is you. You don’t need to seek approval from other people, instead surround yourself with the countless women who have achieved what you wish to achieve and will support you on your entrepreneurial journey.
What are your 5 tips for entrepreneurial success?
Master resilience: Nothing is ever simple or straight forward, but there is always an opportunity to learn.
Learn to say no without having to explain yourself.
Surround yourself with positive and successful people whilst limiting negativity. All energy is contagious.
Rest is just as important to success as working. Allow time to recharge.
Think big – ideas are always considered crazy before they are considered a breakthrough.
Who are the 5 women who most inspire you?
What is your favourite quote?
“The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.” – Henry Ford
I am a firm believer that there is always something you can learn from even the most negative situation. There is no such thing as failure, only an opportunity to learn.
