What would you love to share to encourage other women to start their own company?
“Starting my own business was an empowering and freeing experience. It’s encouraging to see more women, who are full of creativity, confidence knowledge, big ideas and talent, get into business.
Starting your own business means you can reflect your values in your work. For example, HENDRUMAIHI pieces are designed to make the women who wear them clothes feel confident and comfortable.
Women in Qatar are consistently breaking boundaries to do amazing things. I am pleased to see women encouraged to create their own businesses in Qatar.”
Who are the five women who inspire you the most?
Her highness Shk. Moza
Regarded as one of the most prominent female figures in Qatar, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Thani has been actively involved in many endeavours to help social issues and education in the country.
Shaikha AlMayassa
While building an exciting creative future for Qatar through her work at Qatar museums, Sheikha Al Mayassa has amplified the nation’s cultural institutions and heritage sites, by creating a local first outlook as Qatar continues to expand its creative horizon through local and regional artists. Sheikha Al Mayassa founded the Doha Film Institute in 2010. It is dedicated to film appreciation, financing and education
Lolwa AlKhater
Her Excellency, Lolwah R M Al-Khater was appointed as the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar
Before her appointment as the Spokesperson, HE Lolwah joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Minister Plenipotentiary. She also served as the Director of Planning and Quality at Qatar Tourism Authority and as a Research Project Manager at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
Amal Ameen
The Fashion Qatari Tycoon Amal Ameen is a woman who conquered the fashion world with her undisputed glamour and determination. For the last few years, Amal´s presence has left an impression in major fashion cities like Paris, Milan, New York, London or Madrid among many others. Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani
Known as one of the most successful Qatari women, Sheikha Hanadi is Founder & CEO of AL Waab City Real Estate development project, Vice Chairman of Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani & Sons Group and Founding Chairperson Q-Auto, the founding Chairperson of INJAZ Qatar. As a successful businesswoman and philanthropist, she is a prominent figure in the business world.
What are the five top tips you’d give for entrepreneurial success?
1. Confidence in your work is what will drive you to your journey to success, never underestimate yourself and take every obstacle as a lesson that will help you reach your goal
2. Surround yourself with people that inspire you and look up to. You are greatly affected by your community
3. Whatever sector you want to succeed in, never stop learning. Always be keen to learn more and invest in courses/workshops or seminars within your specialty
4. Public relations and Networking is a very important skill, make connections with people in your industry and it will help your business tremendously
5. Lastly, success does not come overnight. As long as you are continuously working towards your goal one task as a time it means you are one step closer to success

I truly believe that true style comes from confidence within, if you are confident in the way that you carry yourself. Whatever outfit you choose to wear will look stunning and you will shine from the inside out.
