What would you love to share to encourage other women to start their own business?
I think too much fear is holding us back, but the future favours the brave. Women need to start forging their own paths and stop listening to what other people think and say. For too long women have sat on the sidelines wishing and thinking about starting their own company. But now is not the time to be thinking. Now is the time to start doing. And doing so boldly. For this I think it’s a requirement that one must rouse their inner rebel and start actively working towards shifting their mindset of what is possible and start a company based on passions. If you do that, and work hard at doing so, you can’t fail.
What are your 5 top tips for entrepreneurial success?
- Break the old rules – what used to work for the pale, male, stale doesn’t work for the rest of us so don’t hesitate to find your own way to success
- Stop following the money – you need to start following your passion
- Don’t get complacent – hard work is the foundation of any successful entrepreneur
- Being on brand isn’t just for brands – think about how your online communications reflect what you are trying to put out into the world
- Be the expert – don’t get complacent, let your curiosity drive your interest
