Can you tell us a little about your background and your company?
I’m Sami Wunder, an internationally recognized love and relationship coach, a wife, a mother, and an Asian female leader who has built an 8 figure, global love coaching empire helping other powerful, successful women attract and keep healthy romantic relationships.
I started my career as a trained economist, earning a master’s degree from Germany’s top school for public policy on a full scholarship from the German Government and working in policy roles as a consultant for international development organizations that looked prestigious on paper but left me feeling unfulfilled.
My journey into love coaching began with my own personal struggles in my love life. In my 20s, I was successful, ambitious, and driven—but struggled with dating and attracting a healthy partnership.
I had all the credentials for professional success but felt quite lost and clueless when it came to understanding the dance of romantic relationships.
When a man I thought was THE ONE for me broke my heart, instead of giving up on my dream of having a family, I dedicated myself to studying what makes romantic relationships work for modern day ambitious women.
I went on a personal journey of transformation and cracked the code to the key needle movers when it comes to attracting and keeping a healthy romantic relationship without dumbing down or playing small.
My personal life turned around rapidly after these revelations and I met my husband, Chris within a year of doing my inner work, and we have been happily married with two beautiful children for over 12 years today.
Back in 2014, when I realized that the dating and relationship struggle wasn’t just mine – so many successful women were facing the same challenges – I professionally trained as a relationship coach and since then there has been no looking back.
Today, my company has served over 18,000 customers across 90 countries to attract healthy loving men, date with confidence and create relationships they feel cherished in. And we are only just starting…
What inspired you to start your business?
I started this business because I saw a massive gap in the dating and relationship coaching industry—particularly for high-achieving women.
Too often, successful women were being told they had to choose between success and love or that they had to dumb down and ‘be more submissive’ if they wanted to attract a loving partner. That idea didn’t sit right with me.
I wanted to believe that we women could have it all—the thriving career, the deep romantic connection, and a life filled with joy and purpose.
On a personal level, the inspiration came from my own love story. I met my husband, Chris, after making a radical shift in how I approached relationships. The results were so powerful that I couldn’t keep them to myself. I knew other women needed this knowledge, and I felt called to share it. What started as coaching a few friends quickly grew into a global movement.
How did you create awareness for your brand?
I started with nothing—no email list, no team, no funding. Just a laptop and an unstoppable belief in my mission.
One of the biggest turning points was starting my Wunder Divas Facebook group. I showed up every single day, posting free advice, answering questions, and genuinely helping women without expecting anything in return. My focus wasn’t on selling—it was on serving.
And then, the magic happened. Women started signing up for one-on-one coaching sessions. They experienced real, tangible shifts in their love lives—men proposing, exes coming back, new relationships forming. And when they saw the results, they talked about it. I collected testimonials rapidly, and the energy was electric. Word-of-mouth became my most powerful asset.
By the end of my first year, I had built a six-figure business—purely through organic growth.
Another game changer over time was PR and getting featured in major outlets like Forbes, the BBC, and Glamour to spread my message. But perhaps the most life-changing moment was when my work was featured in the Daily Mail and I was called the ‘Get The Ring Coach” with over 165 client engagements (recorded back then)—that single article catapulted my business overnight. Suddenly, I wasn’t just a coach; I was an authority in the love and relationship field with invites from top podcasts, New Zealand radio and more.
Finally, beyond media, my focus has always been on building real relationships with my audience. Whether through social media, my email list, or live events, I show up as my authentic self—smart, playful, deeply knowledgeable, and unafraid to challenge the status quo.
What strategies helped you secure funding and scale your business?
I’ve always been a believer in reinvesting in my business. Instead of seeking external funding, I bootstrapped everything, pouring my earnings back into the growth of my company—hiring an exceptional team, running paid ads, and building high-converting automated funnels.
One of the most important financial decisions I made was shifting from a single-course, one-to-one coaching model to a high-value, one-to-many group coaching model. I created a six-month immersive live group coaching program called Elevate, where my team and myself work with clients to help them attract a loving romantic relationship or heal their marriage to the next level of intimacy and connection. Launching that program completely transformed the business. Instead of just selling courses, I created a results-driven, high-touch experience that justified premium pricing. This allowed me to scale without compromising quality.
I also built strong partnerships. Collaborations with other successful female entrepreneurs like Niyc Pidgeon and Cynthia Stant expanded my audience. More recently, I’ve ventured into brand collaborations, including a partnership with the British jewellery brand MJ Jones. We have a capsule collection that we are working on, and they will create bespoke pieces for my clients—because nothing pairs better with love and women than diamonds and engagement rings.
What have been your biggest successes so far?
One of my proudest achievements is seeing over 1,100 women find their soulmates through my programs and services. That number represents lives changed, families built, and women stepping into their full radiance….
On a personal level, one of my biggest successes was overcoming the trauma of a past public speaking incident. In 2022, a talk I gave at a retreat was interrupted and shut down because of differing beliefs on polarity in relationships. The experience left me feeling deeply ashamed, and for two years, I avoided public speaking outside my own programs. But in 2024, I reclaimed my power, delivering a talk at Niyc Pidgeon’s retreat in Ibiza that earned me a standing ovation. That moment was not just a win for my business—it was a win for my soul and its resilience.
What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Balancing motherhood and business has been one of my greatest challenges. I have a four-year-old and an eight-year-old (soon to be nine!), and they are my heart. But let’s be real—running a multi-seven-figure annual business while being a present mother is no small feat. There have been nights of sleep deprivation, wisdom tooth pain on top of it, and moments when I’ve had to remind myself that I am allowed to rest, too.
Another challenge has been navigating relationships in the business world. As a woman in leadership, I’ve encountered situations where I had to stand my ground, even when it was uncomfortable. Whether it’s with my team, partners, or clients, I’ve learned that being feminine does not mean being weak. It means knowing when to lean back—and when to assert my boundaries with absolute clarity.
What are your plans for the future?
2025 is all about expansion….

- I’m looking at doing more live events for my audience in America and the UK.
- My Men & Money program is getting a full revamp to make it an evergreen powerhouse.

What advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs?
Do not wait for permission. If you have a vision, go all in. You don’t need to be ready—you need to be willing.
What are your top three tips for entrepreneurial success?
- Become a master of sales – If you can’t sell, you can’t scale and look at sales as service. I truly believe that when women invest in my programs, their lives change.
- Stay in your zone of genius – Work in your gift zone and outsource what drains you.
- Energy is everything – The way you feel about your work determines your results. Keep your vibe high.
