IWD Inspirational Female Founders Spotlight: Rosie Mead

Rosie Mead is the founder and CEO of Musica Music and Wellbeing CIC. With over 11 years of experience of working in arts and health, Rosie has built a career as a disruptor of dementia care, championing the importance of embedding music into dementia care pathways. Her academic expertise, her passion and belief that dementia care can, and should, be better than it currently is has led her to support care homes, hospitals, day services and family carers to use music as part of daily dementia care. Rosie’s vision is for a world where people affected by dementia feel supported, connected and better able to live well with their condition. Her vehicle for this is her social enterprise – Musica Music and Wellbeing CIC.
