What would you love to share to encourage other women to start their own business?
As women we are often undervalued. The realities of being a woman in corporate America can be traumatic and honestly tiring. Entrepreneurship is not easy, however knowing that there aren’t ceilings being purposely built over you in your business is so freeing. Society has had a history of making us feel like we can’t do it all, but as I take time to acknowledge women of our past I am reminded that we have always done it all. You can do it and you have everything you need inside of you to accomplish it. Believe in yourself like you so often believe in others. Support yourself like you so often support others. Put your dreams first this time and watch all of the beauty that unfolds!
What are your 5 top tips for entrepreneurial success?
Find a career mentor. Mentorship helps so much and can really inform your steps.
It is ok to fall, just make sure you get back up again. There are lessons in every part of the process that are valuable.
Journal. Write down where you are and where you want to be. Be sure to show gratitude for all of the things that are present in your life and the things that are coming. Having reflections of your journey will help you remain positive and intentional
You aren’t everyone’s answer but you are someone’s answer. Don’t waste too much time being distracted by those who don’t appreciate what you do or have to offer. Find those that do.
Just Start. You can figure a lot out along the way
