IWD Inspirational Female Founders Spotlight: Kimberley Cohen

Leaving home at an early age to discover the world, Kimberley spent 8 years in the United States splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles. Studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, her first professional experience was in fashion. Inspired by the pioneering business spirit of the West Coast, she quickly embarked on a great adventure, launching a seasonal furnished rental business in Los Angeles. In 2015, equipped with this international experience, she joined the growing family group and became Maisons Pariente’s Artistic Director. Her focus is on the identity of hotel projects, their positioning, promotion and sourcing. Curious about the spirit of the times, nothing is more exciting to her than imagining the atmosphere of a place, from the tableware to the olfactory signature and the choice of bedroom amenities, a special touch for guests of the Maisons Pariente hotels.

Fashion and property entrepreneur Patrick Pariente and his two daughters, Leslie Kouhana and Kimberley Pariente, are the driving force behind Maisons Pariente, a boutique luxury hotel collection which was established in 2019 and which offers guests exclusive escapes to beautiful properties in stunning French destinations.  This group of timeless hideaways combine chic design, complete privacy and attentive but discreet service, offering the ultimate French getaway from sea to snow. The hotel group includes Crillon Le Brave in Provence, Hotel Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez, Hotel Le Coucou in Meribel and a brand new hotel opening in Paris in 2022, Le Grand Mazarin.
